Its got a wonderful wonderful patina, what seem to me just perfect proportions, and could be useful for storing all sorts of little things. I have not touched the wood, which is a bit dry with a little bit of cracking, but I think one could give it a little love by rubbing it with a bit of mineral oil or butcher block cream.
