Constructed of bronze, the obverse bearing a central raised pigeon, topped by an inscription of ALLZEIT FLUGBEREIT (READY TO FLY AT ALL TIMES), above an inscription of DEUTSCHLAND (GERMANY), the reverse with an inscription of FR VERDIENSTE IM BRIEFTAUBENWESEN (FOR MERIT IN MESSENGER PIGEON BREEDING), above oak leaf branches, unmarked, measuring 40 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
