Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Saskatchewan with mobilization headquarters at Battleford under the authority of G. O. 69, July 15, 1916. The Battalion sailed April 18, 1917 under the command of Lieutenant Colonel R. P. Laurie with a strength of 13 officers and 286 other
