A discreet touch of wood frames spicy and ripe yet reasonably cool aromas of dark raspberry, plum and an array of floral nuances and in particular violet. The rich and supple flavors coat the palate with sappy dry extract that also does a good job of buffering the moderately firm tannic spine shaping the complex, firm and sneaky long finish.
