A hint of herbal tea sits atop the earthier aromas of essence of red berries that are not quite as ripe though they are a bit spicier

But for all of the variety that these phenomena entail

This is quite simply terrific but at the risk of sounding like a broken record

Currently showing some rigidity and firm rockiness on the nose

Domaine William Fevre, Chablis Vaillons other_regions_italy A hint of herbal tea(from a huge 3. 5 ha holding that is composed by ~75% of Vaillons proper with the remainder from Roncires, Mlinots and Chtains). Touches of menthol and wood surround the floral and pepper scented nose that isnt quite as fresh as that of the Montmains. There is by contrast good energy to the very rich and nicely voluminous flavors that conclude in a bitter lemon and intensely saline inflected finale. Very good but not truly special.
