And the carving of the stem feels nearly as expressive as the face itself. He's got one small nail just below one temple, I believe a repair to stabilize the split down his forehead; it's a bit hard to tell, but I like him all the better for it. 6 1 8 l x 1 1 2 t x 1 w.
