This should drink well after 5 years or so yet reward up to 10
cherry and violet pastille flavors that are complicated by salty olive and cracked pepper nuances
the wine manages to offer its forward
bright acidity and a crisp finish
Jean Noel Gagnard, Chassagne Montrachet Morgeot Rouge Vintage:2019 This should drink well after(from Clos Chareau and Grand Clos). A more deeply pitched and slightly riper nose features notes of red cherry, spice, freshly ground pepper and more earth influence. There is better size, weight and richness if not the same refinement to the solidly powerful, more austere and slightly rustic finale. Note that this is firm enough to repay up to a decade of keeping.
