Medium Calathea Pinstripe Desktop Plants The large Carmen bush comesAlso known as the Ornata, the Calathea Pinstripe is native to the tropical regions of Colombia and Venezuela. Their unique leaves are a deep green with silvery to pink veins that look like pinstripes. Like other Calatheas, the Picturata will fold up its leaves at night, and then "bloom" open to greet the sunshine, giving it the nickname prayer plant.
